Adding an App Theme Extension

Customize the theme you want to add Recommendify too (it doesn't matter if it's live or not), then select the page you want to add recommendations to.

Add a section on the window on the left. Scroll to the "Apps" section of available sections and click Recommendify Panel.

The panel can be positioned on the page by dragging it above or below existing sections.

Configuring the App Theme Extension

Once you have added the Recommendify Panel to the page, you will see the panel configuration. Here is an explanation of the panel settings:

Recommendation Type

This is the type of recommendations to be shown. Not all recommendation types are available on every page.

• Top Sellers recommendations are available on every page.
• Recently Viewed recommendations are available on every page.
• Buy Again recommendations are available on every page (but only if the customer is logged in).
• Similar Products recommendations are available on the product page.
• Custom Products recommendations are available on the product page.
• Cart recommendations are available on the cart page.

Panel Type

This controls how the recommendations display. They are either in a grid of recommendations (of which the number can be controlled through the settings in the embedded dashboard) or in a carousel.

Carousel Pause

This controls the time between when the carousel loads and when it starts to rotate.

Carousel Transition Speed

This controls the time it takes the carousel to scroll.

Loop Carousel

This controls whether the carousel acts as a continuous loop.

Autoplay Carousel

This controls whether the carousel starts moving automatically after the carousel pause time has elapsed.

Show Carousel Dots

This controls whether the carousel navigation dots show below the recommendations.

Custom CSS

This is where you can add any custom CSS code that you want to affect this recommendation panel.
